Weβre in search of a driven, collaborative, and social Admissions & Community Manager who cares about the future of education and can serve as the face of School of Humanity to learners, parents, and partners at large. This is a critical cross-functional role focusing on two core areas:
π¬Β Admissions: overseeing our Admissions process for our innovative online school (Grades 7-12). No admissions experience is required.
πΒ Community: supporting intentional community development and nurturing of our school community, including current learners & parents as well as post-graduates and alumni. This includes supporting with coordination of in-person gatherings.

βοΈ Monthly Tasks
On a monthly basis, the Admissions & Community Manager can expect to split their time between two functions:
π¬Β Oversee the admissions process which includes:
- Conduct admissions calls with prospective learners and parents.
- Schedule, organize, and lead virtual open days.
- Conduct interviews with shortlisted learners during the application process.
- Respond to inbound inquiries.
- Oversee financial aid and scholarship decisions based on criteria.
- Work closely with other team members (Education Team, Chief Growth Officer, Digital Marketing Coordinator, Ads Manager) to share ideas, and feedback & present results.
- Track key admissions metrics and share insights with the team.
- Approve all acceptance, waitlist, and refusal decisions.
- Ensure effective documentation of all steps of the admissions process.
πΒ Oversee our community engagement efforts:
- Oversee the implementation of a Community Engagement Strategy, designed to maximize learner and parent experiences.
- Collaborating with the education and learning team to support with workshops and events for enrolled families.
- Supporting with coordination for two gatherings annually, and supporting with parent-led community meet-ups.
- Identifying in-person activities and opportunities for learners in select cities.
