Our Middle School is designed to cater to learners in Grades 7 & 8, between the ages of 11-13. However, learners progress based on mastery, not age, meaning that some learners may take more or less time depending on their ability level. Our Middle School integrates real-world learning experiences, prioritizing exploration, discovery and play. Learning at School of Humanity is designed to be flexible and brings together live and self-paced learning.

Modality: Fully remote, part-time (live sessions typically between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm GMT+4)

We are looking for an interdisciplinary educator with experience working with Middle School learners to join our team at School of Humanity. Learning facilitators are our key educators at the School of Humanity. They facilitate interdisciplinary workshops and live sessions, as well as facilitate personalized learning plans for each learner. Learning facilitators also perform project-based assessment, and oversee learning attainment for their given group of learners.

✔️ Weekly Tasks

On a weekly basis, learning facilitators can expect to:

• Facilitate live sessions and workshops, designed by our learning designers
  • See weekly schedule (all times in GMT)
• Perform project-based assessments, feedback, and/or evaluations
• Ensure learners progress on their learning journeys and activities
• Oversee learner progress across curriculum learning outcomes
• Support learners with 1-1 check-ins
• Coordinate communication with parents and guardians regarding learning progress and lead parent meetings
• Support with pastoral care and extracurricular activities
• Attend weekly team meetings

⚙️ Compensation

Part-time, 20 to ****25 hours a week, remote

$1700/month for three terms a year.
