Service and offering

Our co-learning program is an opportunity for learners enrolled in our online high school, as well as other homeschool and online schools in Dubai to co-learn in a shared space with guidance from educators and mentors. The co-learning experience is designed to be an in-person add-on for learners who are participating in other full-time online or flexible programming for their schooling.

The hub and co-learning membership are currently only open to learners ages 13 and above.

Enrolled learners can join us for:

A calendar of workshops and social events will be released on a monthly basis. Learners have flexibility on which co-learning days and workshops they choose to participate in.

Additional offering for SoH high schoolers

Learners enrolled in School of Humanity’s American online high school may also book the following spaces and devices for their high school projects every term:

Learners will need to book the above at least 2 weeks in advance. An educator will be available to ensure the appropriate and safe use of the equipment.

Program fee

The program fee is $200 or AED730 per month. This fee is inclusive of AED 500 of annual student membership for in5.

This program fee does not include tuition for hybrid or in-person supplementary programs offered by School of Humanity, such as Summer School or Ascend. For learners enrolled in our online American high school, this fee is an add-on fee to their high school tuition.

Safeguarding measures

For the sake of safeguarding, learners will not be permitted to access any of the learning hub venues at in5 on non-co-learning days, at any times/days when the School of Humanity team is not on-site, or on any days when the learning hub is closed due to the public or school holidays.

This is to ensure that vetted learning hub educators and/or team members are available on-site to supervise and support their learning experience.

Parents will be requested to confirm their child’s participation in given days or workshops via the hub portal in advance so that educators can oversee and ensure their attendance and arrival at the hub. Learners are required to “check-in” and “check out” with the on-site educators to confirm their participation.

During the onboarding process, parents are required to declare any long-term physical or mental health issues or conditions that their children possess so that educators are prepared for any potential risks.

All on-site team members and educators will be certified for first aid training and safeguarding.

All learning hubs are based at in5 space that has on-site security and CTV cameras.

Understanding of shared space

The learning hubs in Dubai are hosted in partnership with in5, an ecosystem, and incubator of 500+ startups and innovative organizations. This partnership with in5 enables access to inspiring and cutting-edge facilities such as media studios, prototyping labs, workshop spaces, and workspaces - as well as access to an exciting network of innovators.

This means that the co-learning spaces and bathrooms (that are separated by gender) are often shared with other adults (members of in5) that School of Humanity is not responsible for or acquainted with.

Learners are required to behave responsibly and professionally at all times and avoid any disruptive behaviors (such as yelling, running, or being loud) that may negatively affect the experience of others or reflect badly on the school.

Responsibility for damages

Parents are responsible for any damages their children may accidentally or deliberately cause to the learning hub/in5 facilities including but not limited to equipment, furniture, prototyping tools, door, windows, screens, or devices.
